Responsibilites
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the overall business goals and objectives.
Collaborate with senior management to identify technology trends and opportunities that can enhance operational efficiency.
IT Leadership:
Provide strong leadership, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of IT staff.
Infrastructure Management:
Manage and optimise the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. Implement best practices for network administration, system backups, and disaster recovery.
Software Development:
Oversee software development projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's data and systems.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Vendor Management:
Evaluate and manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service delivery.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Implement cost control measures without compromising the quality and effectiveness of IT services.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with other department heads to understand their technology needs and provide solutions.
Communicate IT strategies, projects, and progress to executive leadership.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior IT leadership role, preferably in a startup or BPO environment.
Strong understanding of BPO processes and technology requirements.
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IT strategies that align with business objectives.
